Our company goals are to enable both our volunteers and clients opportunities to build confidence and improve self-esteem. We aim to increase mental, emotional, social and physical wellbeing, through shared goals.
Our volunteers are at the heart of our organisation and can do as little, or as much, as they want or are able.
We continue to evolve our care farms to promote a variety of skills, including animal husbandry and land management, that strengthens interaction with others and promotes social inclusion. We offer opportunities for people to help out on the farms, be it gardening, developing a nature plot or growing vegetables that can be donated to our local food banks. You can also build nature habitats, bird boxes and animal shelters.
We also develop and train volunteers to become Peer Mentors, where they can support our clients to develop social skills and/or increase physical activity. Because of the natural therapeutic environment, this can aid people’s recovery and even be a preparation for employment in our sector or other industries.
We need all skills and talents.
Most importantly we need people who can help inspire our clients and implement wellbeing activities.
So can you talk to others if the answer is yes then we need you.
We offer a package of training and development as well as enabling the community to come together to learn from each other. For further information contact us direct. Happy to meet to discuss further.
